We’re from Austin y’all.

We represent Travis and the surrounding counties, working in live entertainment and events in the Live Music Capital of the World–Austin, TX.

We love what we do and we work hard. We believe that people who work for a living ought to earn a living, make a good living, and have a good life. We’re joining together in hopes of seeing some industry shifts towards a better life.

There has never been a better time for Austin techs to organize!

We are a group of freelance entertainment workers and IATSE Local 205 members coming together to launch Seen and Heard ATX: Respect for Techs in the Live Music Capital of the World.

To unite Austin’s freelance live event technicians for fair wages, safe working conditions, and full employment.

To unite and demand livable wages, safe work spaces, and full employment status from the venues and companies that hire us. Without us, Austin’s entertainment-based economy would not thrive. It is from the fruits of our labors that Austin has become the Live Music Capital of the World. Let’s stand together to make our music community stronger, safer, and more sustainable!
